Po propadu zdravstvene reforme in neuspešni davčni reformi je v središču pozornosti zdaj pokojninska reforma. Po predlogu reforme se obeta dvig upokojitvene starosti s 65 na 67 let, vendar le za tiste, ki niso zbrali potrebnih 40 let delovne dobe.
Vlada, ki bi morala o izhodiščih reforme odločati že v začetku leta, se bo s predlogom predvidoma seznanila čez nekaj tednov, saj je bilo potrebno vključiti popravke s strani finančnega ministrstva, navaja 24ur. Kljub temu opozarja, da stabilizacija javnih financ ne more temeljiti izključno na pokojninski reformi. Tudi ekonomist Matej Lahovnik izpostavlja, da so stroški za zdravstveno blagajno še večji izziv. “Pretiran optimist nisem, a upam, da obstaja dovolj modrosti tudi v vladi,” dodaja Lahovnik.
Pokojninska reforma je načrtovana za obravnavo na vladi že januarja, a so se zaradi nesoglasij, zlasti med finančnim in delovnim resorjem, roki zamaknili. Vlada naj bi predloge prejela v naslednjih tednih, nato pa sledi šest mesecev pogajanj s socialnimi partnerji.
